Perhaps you are so afraid to fall
That it keeps you from looking over the edge
To see the special person waiting
For you to fall down into their arms

They eventually leave because they get tired of waiting for you

Possibly, you're so afraid to stand still for them to arrive
Because they might not be able to catch up with you

So you keep running forward and never looking back

Maybe, you might think
That "L.O.V.E." is a dirty, overused word
It is, but if you are so afraid of it,
I won't say it, I won't hurt you ever
I'll show it to you slowly, so you won't be startled.
